It is 9 am, the sun is shining here on the campsite at Crécy-la-Chapelle, and the whole family has just finished eating a delicious breakfast out on the terrace!

The children are so excited to head to Parc Astérix for the first time that they can’t keep still, and are more than happy to get into the car! Once everyone is strapped in, it is time for a quick hour’s drive in the direction of Plailly!

An hour later, you arrive at the car park. The children can already spot some of the attractions towering over the amusement park!

With beaming smiles, they hurry as fast as their legs can carry them to the middle of the park.
Immediately captivated by the world of the Romans and Gauls, they are already rushing over to the first activity:  Your family outing is ready to begin!

Everyone is talking at the same time, chattering excitedly about where to start. Before they choose which attraction or ride to try first, the children need to let off some steam. They spot the Panoramix playground.

First attraction, here we come! You decide to ease into your day by starting with the Etamine, a family-friendly ride.

You enter a charming world where you help a chef make his potion by taking on the role of a giant spoon! The children shriek with laughter, while you try to take a couple of pictures before you get too dizzy…

Your day out has officially begun, as you head for attraction after attraction! Le « Cheval de Troie » and its high basket, the « Pegase Express » which throws you suddenly in reverse « l’Hydre de Lerne » and its incredible tentacles, and not forgetting the« Tonnerre 2 Zeus » with its high speed, very sharp corners…One thrilling adventure after the other!

So many eateries and dining areas to choose from! As you wander along, the children spot the giant fruit and vegetables towering over the restaurant du lac. It looks like a decision has been made!

Once everyone is sat down, you all talk excitedly about the rides and attractions you have just been on, and it is safe to say, everyone is having a good time!  When the food arrives, the family all gasps in delight at the menu set before you.
Druid cocktails, Zeus burgers and chocolate crêpes!

Especially before you attempt another roller coaster! The whole family heads over to the entrance to the park, into a magnificent arena, to enjoy a show: « Gaulois-Romains le Match ». This 20 minute performance will have you all on the edge of your seats!

At the end of the show, the group is torn: some of you want to take a ride on the daunting « Goudurix » with its turns at 55 miles an hour, whereas the rest of you would rather enjoy a nice, calm cruise on the « Epidemaïs ».

Ice cream

You may have had a full meal this lunchtime, but facing your fears and trying out all the heart-pounding attractions available at the park has worked up everyone’s’ appetite! In unanimous agreement, you all head to Cup Astérix for a vanilla ice cream with special sauce and toppings!
